Hello Friends,

Welcome to our brand new website & blog! My name is Jazmin Kellis and I am the full-time daughter / part-time singer, rhythm section and manager of Douglas Kellis. My dad has been a musician and lyricist for over 40 years; playing to various crowds in a variety of performances ranging from a rock n' roll band called 'Backroads Live' to street performances in City Market, Downtown KC.

From the first time we played at the Main Street Coffeehouse in downtown Independence, Missouri, we have felt right at home. Maybe that homey feeling is because this is where Doug was born and lives today, but I think it's more than that. After years of various gigs, bands and solo performances, the coffeehouse scene seems to be the most inviting and rewarding of them all.

This particular coffeehouse is warm, welcoming and makes a darn good coffee, latte or the like. Every time we play here we get more people asking about Doug's return and last weekend we had one of the biggest and most enthralled crowds thusfar.

Right now we are working on putting a more professional touch on Doug's CD he produced in California. CD's will be available for purchase at the shows very soon!!! In the meantime, come out and enjoy and great evening with good food, good people and great music....
